I am Duan from Thai Pots.
I was born in North East Thailand, where I started cooking at a very young age in my village.
The recipes I have developed for Thai Pots were taught to me by my mother and grandmother.

More About Me
After leaving college I worked for several years as a radio presenter for a station in North East Thailand.
After this I moved into television and began reporting for a TV news channel in Thailand, where I ended up being promoted to the position of news anchor.
After a few years working in television I decided that I wanted to explore the world and improve my English, so I set off for London.
My goal was to improve my English so I could pursue a career with one of the international news channels, but that all changed when I fell in love with an Irishman.
Since meeting my partner, we have lived in London (where we met), Thailand and Spain.
When our children got to school age we decided to move back to Ireland.
We have two girls called Bluebell and Daisy, who love living in Ireland.

I love nothing more than to cook Thai dishes for friends and family.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing the look of content on peoples faces after eating the food I prepare.
When we realised there was not a lot of Thai food available in the West of Ireland, we came up with an idea…. and Thai Pots was born.
